Ryan is a wireless networking engineer with numerous years of experience as a systems engineer managing wired and wireless IP networking, virtualization environments, applications, and web infrastructures with a strong background in retail, healthcare, and higher education. He dedicates much of his time to staying current on changes in the marketplace as well as the constantly evolving IT field.

Ryan is an advocate and supporter of open source technologies with a tendency to always try to build it bigger and better himself. Although now working as a consultant for a large VAR, it’s not uncommon to find him trying his hand at developing a new application that will change the world, forcing round APIs into square servers, using a soldering iron and hammer to turn doodads into thingamajigs, or tinkering with the tech industry’s “Next Big Thing” in his home office – all while trying to find a better, cheaper, more accessible way to do it all.
