This year’s Super Bowl was touted as the “most connected event” ever, and downtown San Francisco was no exception. In the week leading up to the big game a free-to-the-public fan village celebrating Super Bowl 50 was established on Market Street, in the famed Embarcadero. This talk will take a look at the details of the temporary wired/wireless deployment that supplied connectivity to fans, and some of the insights gleaned from it use.
